Licensed family child care homes (FCCH) play an important role in the child care market. Compared to centers, they're more likely to care for infants, offer flexible/non-traditional hours of care, and are more affordable for families. However, the number of FCCHs across the state saw a steep decline after the Great Recession, and has never recovered. This webinar explores the statewide and regional trends over the past decade, and delves into the economic and social factors that uniquely influence these providers.
