Investigating and reporting on the complex landscape of child care in California
Our research team collects, analyzes, and publishes statewide and county-specific data on the supply, demand, and cost of child care in California. We also conduct studies and create reports on both broad and specific issues impacting families, children, and the child care workforce. Our publications are used by national, state, and local policymakers, business leaders, health care professionals, educators, planning agencies, and child care advocacy organizations to understand and respond to the needs of California families.
