Marin Child Care Council

My name is Kelsey Lombardi, representing Marin Child Care Council, in Marin County. I am the Resource & Referral Policy Specialist, and I have been with R&R for 3.5 years, and for a portion of that, part of the R&R Network Public Policy Committee, developing my advocacy muscle. I am also the Coordinator for the Local Planning Council. With 16+ years of experience in the field, first as an Infant/Toddler Teacher and then onto an admin role with Marin Head Start, I am keenly aware of the systems created that can either support or hinder our dedicated child care workforce and the families we serve. With my experience at the local planning council, I am now able to understand those systems beyond the local level.

Therefore, I hope to support the experienced Board of Directors in achieving an elevated and recognized level of service in the R&R Networks new chapter. One that meets the needs of the wonderful communities we serve!
