Developed by the California Child Care Resource & Referral Network, this dashboard reflects the collaborative structure of California’s Bridge Program, bringing together Bridge voucher utilization, child welfare data from the Child Welfare Indicators Project, Resource & Referral (R&R) agency service areas, and child care supply data through interactive statewide county maps and district-level dashboards.
The Network plays a central role in supporting the Bridge Program through Navigation services and Trauma-Informed Care training and coaching for child care providers across California. This work helps ensure that children in foster care are connected to safe, stable, and supportive child care environments.
This dashboard complements that operational work by examining how Bridge voucher utilization aligns with foster care populations, local R&R agency coverage, and the availability of licensed child care. Together, these views help policymakers, child welfare agencies, R&R programs, and other stakeholders better understand program reach, child care capacity, and opportunities to strengthen support for children and families served through Bridge.
